Course Overview
It provides a nurturing and stimulating environment that focuses on the holistic development of children. Nursery education is designed to provide a child-centered and play-based learning environment that promotes the development of various skills and abilities in young children. It aims to lay a strong foundation for future learning and prepare children for a smooth transition to primary school. Nursery education focuses on fostering children’s social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and creative growth.
What you’ll learn
- Social Development: Helping children develop social skills, interact with peers and adults, and build positive relationships.
- Emotional Development: Supporting the emotional well-being of children, promoting self-awareness, self-regulation, and resilience.
- Physical Development: Enhancing gross motor skills (such as running, jumping, and balancing) and fine motor skills (such as writing, drawing, and manipulating objects).
- Cognitive Development: Stimulating children’s thinking abilities, problem-solving skills, curiosity, and critical thinking.
- Language and Communication: Promoting language development, vocabulary expansion, listening skills, and expressive communication.
- Creativity and Imagination: Encouraging creativity, imaginative play, artistic expression, and exploration of different materials and mediums.
- Early Literacy and Numeracy: Introducing foundational literacy and numeracy concepts through age-appropriate activities and experiences.
- Cultural Awareness: Exposing children to diverse cultures, traditions, and experiences to develop an appreciation for diversity and inclusivity.
Requirements
Candidates must;
- Be aged 3, 4 or 5 years.
- Have parental consent and involvement
- Have access to a computer, either a laptop or a desktop.
- Be equipped with high-quality headphones.
- Have fully functional webcam included on the laptop or desktop.
