Course Overview
The board conducts the National Technical Examination (NTC), National Business Certificate (NBC) and their respective advance level examinations (ANBC; Advanced National Business Certificate and ANTC; Advanced National Technical Certificate).
The Modular Trades Certificate (MTC) Examinations are especially designed and tailored to meet the needs of:
(i) those who want to be certified in marketable modules of a trade
(ii) artisans/operatives and others who wish to upgrade their skills for purposes of employment and upward mobility on the job.
(iii) those trained in the informal educational sector (apprenticeship scheme) but with adequate knowledge and skills to sit for the examination.
(iv) those already in employment and studying on part-time wishing to gradually cumulate their module scores until completed for a single full NTC/NBC certificate
(v) those interested in do-it-yourself in the profession of their choice. The Modular Trades Certificate Examinations are examined twice a year March and December.
